BREAKING: Plane of Missing Soccer Player Emiliano Sala Is Found in the English Channel The wreckage of the plane that vanished with the footballer Emiliano Sala on board has been found within hours of a search starting in the sea off the Channel Islands. A search boat hired privately by Sala’s Argentinian family – thanks partly to a crowdfunding appeal – located the wreckage on Sunday morning. The crew passed the details of the location on to government investigators, who used a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) to examine the spot. There was no immediate official confirmation of what was found but the shipwreck specialist leading the private investigation, David Mearns, said the plane had been discovered. No information about whether any bodies were in the plane was given. Two seat covers from the aircraft washed up last week on the coast of France. It was gathered that the victim was found dead and her body mutilated few days after she was kidnapped by unknown gunmen that invaded their residence at Amaba, Isiukwuato in Abia State. The gunmen invaded the father’s house, who is the resident pastor of the Assemblies of God Church in Amiyi Obilohia in Isuikwuato, stabbed the Pastor and his wife and kidnapped his two daughters. The mutilated bodies of the pastor’s daughters were later found along the Amaba and Ezere community border with their heads and breasts missing.

PMB Assents To Discrimination Against Persons With Disabilities Bill.President Muhammadu Buhari has assented to the Discrimination Against Persons with disabilities (Prohibition) Act, 2018.According to a statement by the senior special assistant National Assembly (Senate) Ita Enang, this Act prohibits all forms of discrimination on ground of disability and imposes fine of N1, 000, 000 for corporate bodies and N100, 000 for individuals or a term of six months imprisonment for violation concurrently it guarantees right to maintain civil action for damage by the person injured against any defaulter.He said the bill provides for a five-year transitional period within which public buildings, structures or automobile are to be modified to be accessible to and usable by persons with disabilities, including those on wheelchairs. Gonzalo Higuain has today joined Chelsea on for the remainder of the season.The 31 year old Higuain moves from Italian side Juventus, though he spend first half of the season on loan at AC Milan where he scored eight goals before joining Chelsea. Higuain is a proven goalscorer through out his career, and has scored some multiple goals for Argentina. He arrived with wealth of experience at the highest level having shown his attacking quality during his time in Argentina, Spain and Italy. Higuain previously play under Chelsea coach Maurizo Sarri at Napoli during 2015/2016, where he finished as a top scorer in Serie A he scored 36 goals that year. In a statement issued by the spokesperson for the Obiageli Ezekwesili Presidential Campaign Organisation, Ozioma Ubabukoh, Ezekwesili was quoted as saying that her decision to withdraw from the race followed extensive discussions with Nigerians at home and the Diaspora.
